Returns policy

 

According to §56 of the Law of Obligations Act a client can return an item bought from our homepage within 14 days. The 14-day time period starts once the customer receives their order.

The right of return does not apply to goods manufactured for the personal preferences of the consumer who is a party to the contract or that have been manufactured according to the conditions established by the consumer.

Amount for the returned product will be repaid to the client not later than in 30 calendar days starting from the receipt of the corresponding notice. A client must immediately return the goods but not later than 30 calendar days after mailing the application for withdrawal.

For the use of the withdrawal right offered by the etno.ee online store, you must do the following:

  • Send an application to our address info@etno.ee
  • Please inform us of the return date in advance and return the goods in unused condition and if possible in their original packaging to our office address: Peterburi tee 46, Tallinn.
  • We will return the prepayment in 30 days by bank transmission to the bank account indicated by the customer in the application.  The prepayment will be returned after we have checked the goods.
  • In order to use the right of return of the goods, the client must open the package without damaging it and return the product with the package. Principle of reasonableness applies to the return of a product that has been removed from its package.

 

According to §218 of the Law of Obligations Act the seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the thing which becomes apparent within two years as of the date of delivery of the thing to the purchaser. It is presumed that any lack of conformity which becomes apparent within six months as of the date of delivery of a thing to the purchaser already existed before the delivery of the thing, unless such presumption is contrary to the nature of the thing or the deficiency.

 

Guarantee and claims


The seller shall not be responsible for:

  • The deterioration of the product or damage done to the product through the fault of the client.
  • The defects caused by non-purposeful use of the product
  • The natural wear of the product in the case of normal use.

 

In case of defects you must:

  • Send a corresponding application in which you describe all possible defects in as much detail as possible to our address info@etno.ee.
  • Please add a photo of the defect if possible.
  • Mark down your contact information on the application.

After receiving the declaration, we will contact you in 7 days to agree on further action with regards to verifying the defect and for the repair of the product.
